Return, Replacement & Cancellation Policy
At Vanitha Silk Enterprises, every saree is crafted with devotion by India’s finest artisans. We ensure strict quality checks and careful packaging for every order. While we do not offer refunds, we provide replacements or store credit under specific conditions mentioned below. By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms of the following policy.
1. Return & Replacement Policy
We follow a Replacement / Store Credit Only policy. No refunds are issued under any circumstances.
Eligibility Window
Customers must inform us within 7 days of delivery for return/replacement requests. Requests beyond 7 days cannot be accepted.
Eligible Reasons
- Wrong product received
- Damaged product
- Manufacturing defect
Mandatory Proof (within 24 hours of delivery)

Store Credit
A coupon code of the same product value will be issued to your registered email. Store credits have no expiry.
Replacement
You may exchange the product for another item of equal or higher value. If higher value, the difference must be paid. If lower value, the balance will be issued as store credit.
Additional Notes
- Reverse pickup is not available.
- Customer must courier the product to our dispatch address.
- Product must be unused, in original packaging, with tags intact.
- Sarees with fall & edging, customized pieces, or discounted items are not eligible.
3. Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Prepaid order cancellations will incur a cancellation charge (payment gateway fee). Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
4. Important Conditions
- Only one-time replacement is allowed.
- Shipping charges & COD charges are non-refundable.
- Minor color or texture variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, or handwoven nature of the product — these are not considered defects.
- Accessories seen in images (belts, jewelry, blouses, etc.) are not included unless specifically mentioned.
5. Legal Disclaimer
Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of Bangalore Courts only.
6. Non-Returnable Items
- Sarees with fall & edging
- Customized / made-to-order items
- Discounted / clearance sale products
- Stitched garments / blouses / innerwear
- International orders (unless wrong/damaged product received)
7. Combo / Bundle Purchases
Products sold as sets or combos must be returned as a whole. Partial returns are not accepted.
8. Processing Timeline
Replacement or store credit will be processed within 7–10 working days after the returned item passes QC.
